The Mikhailovsky Garden is laid out as a classical English garden in its middle and as the French layout – along its perimeter. A unique fence surrounds the garden from the side of the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood.
Tavrichesky Garden and Yusupov Garden, both laid out in XVIII century, are also very nice place for a walk in any season.
If you are visiting the State Hermitage Museum, don't miss the Alexander Garden, which is located behind the Admiralty and next to Palace Square. You will find the Medny Vsadnik monument in its corner that is close to the crossroads of Admiralteyskaya embankment and Dekabristov proyezd.
