The Pavlosky Posad’s shawls are decorated with the bright colourful ornaments the main themes of which are flower bouquets and garlands. The design is printed on the fabric with the help of printing plates. Each colour is printed from only one plate, and one needs up to a few tens of plates to make one shawl. From 1970 the technology has changed. Now the design is printed with the help of the special silk or fosta nylon stencils.
Today the factory is manufacturing woollen, silk and cotton shawls and scarves of different sizes using traditional and modern design. The production of the factory was awarded by many organizations and funds.
